Cheesy Sauce

No fat, high-protein, all taste!


  • 1.5 cups organic unpeeled potato, chopped (approx. 1 large)
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrots
  • 4-6 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1tbsp + 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup cooking water


  • Boil the potatoes and carrots.
  • While the vegetables are boiling, put the nutritional yeast, spices, salt and lemon juice in a blender.
  • Add the cooked vegetables, along with 1 cup of the cooking water, and blend.
  • Use on everything from steamed vegetables to nachos, baked potatoes to pasta.
  • Store unused sauce in the fridge for up to a week.
