I’ve always loved animals, but when I finally connected the dots and realized that I was loving some while eating others, I had to make a change. I went vegetarian at age 13. But when I went vegan at 40, it was more of a struggle. My husband and kids weren’t vegan. My friends and extended family weren’t either.

I had to cope with many things like what to make for dinner, how to handle Thanksgiving as a vegan, who to talk to when I was feeling down, how to get my nutrients, and how to cope with feeling like an outsider in my life.

I went through the “happy herbivore” phase, followed by the “angry activist” phase, and have now come home to my “compassionate caring” self. I try to show people how to be plant-based, rather than focusing too heavily on why they should be.

I am a certified Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator through Victoria Moran’s Main Street Vegan Academy and I have a Certificate in Plant-based Nutrition from E-Cornell University. I’m also a vegan mom, wife, daughter, sister, and friend.

I hope my experiences will help you navigate your own vegan journey, with a little more support along the way. I’M HERE TO MAKE IT EASY. So let’s go!
